So, though London is an incredibly expensive city and the UK tends to be expensive as a whole, I have had great experience with buying wine online here. I have gotten back to my American roots of searching out the best deals – of which there are plenty – and enjoyed much of the experience. My favorite shopping outlets after 10 months are online – through Majestic Wine (www.majestic.co.uk) and through my grocery store (I have all our food delivered online here – its amazingly convenient and allows me to order bulky items that I don’t have to cart home with me by foot!). Both offer great deals on wines that are already competitively priced. Majestic regularly runs deals like 20% off all Spanish wines, making the experience of trying new wines affordable and fun!
