Love: Chilean Carmenère

So, I have always been a bit traditional with my wine consumption, save for my love affairs with petit verdot and cabernet franc, I generally stick to the company line with chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon, shiraz. However, since moving to London I have had the benefit of trying many new types and styles of European wines – including European varietals. The big upside is that many of these wines are priced around £5 – £6 so they are incredibly affordable for an everyday tipple!

My most recent find is a bottle that is perfect for a party or a nice weekday glass of wine. It lasts for a few days on your counter, maintaining is heady, oaky, fruity taste. Not refined – but very tasty.
